Leather jacket: Vintage / Shirt: Thrifted / Vest with belt: Thrifted / Skirt: Vintage / Tights: H&M 100 den / Boots: Jessica Simpson / Scarf: Le Chateau / Necklace: Vintage / Bag: BCBG Max Azria

Last night was beer, pizza with a bunch of friends and we ended up playing Sing Star on Playstation! We spent the entire night irritating each other's ears with bad 90's classics...so much fun! Let's just say none of us will ever become a hit recording artist and that we better stay at our current occupations. While my friend Gilles was showing off his rapping skills to Mc Hammer's Can't touch this, I tried to recreate the dancing in the video! You have to know that dancing is definitely not one of my skills...lol. Too bad I wasn't dressed for the occasion in my Commes des Garçons for H&M harem pants.

Sunday morning was spent brunching and remembering the events that went on the night before. Afterwards I went home and watched Twilight again! You could never tire of this movie...well, if you're a fan.

xoxo
Stephanie

PS: Yesterday's outfit was inspired by the picture below. It is one of my favorite looks of all time and I had saved it in the inspirational folder but had kind of forgotten about it when Stephanie at Le CHEAP c'est CHIC posted about last week. It just felt so appropriate for the beginning of spring.

this outfit reminds me of the infamous one Miroslava Mikheeva Duma was wearing when the Sartorialist snapped her picture (or one of the many he took of her). you look incredible, the skirt is amazing.

i like how dead on your inspiration is.
Bit by bit a friend of mine is starting to convince to get into Twilight. I already told her I'd watch the movie(The very good lookingness of this Robert guy definitely tipped the scales.), she's trying to get me to read the book...but I'm not entirely convinced.

I really like what you say in your About page: "that money does not equal style. Fashion does not have to be elitist." It's something that I really believe in. Money just buys people expensive clothes. And I can't stand fashion elitists.

I love your outfit better than hers!! :]
I really want a jacket just like yours! Veryyyy cute.

It's so funny you mention loving to watch rather than playing Nintendo, because when my younger brother (we're 8 years apart) used to beg me to beat all the castles and monsters and bosses for him. So after I'd play, my stomach would be all tense and I'd get really into it.. lol.. standing up.. yelling at the screen. haha! We didn't have Sega but my best friend did, so I went over almost every afternoon on the weekends to play Sonic, now I have it on Gameboy Advance!! :]

love that jacket! Im with you on the sing star, im completely terrible but its so much fun to play. my only requirements is that I (and anyone listening) has a few cocktails. So that maybe the next day no one recalls the dog howling in the background as i sing... :)
