Sequin cardigan: Zara / Tank: AA
These are some fun shots from a photoshoot I did at a beginning of Febuary that I felt like sharing because I'm wearing some of my favorite clothing articles in them. That BCBG Max Azria dress I got last summer at a flea market near where I live. This amazing lady (Hi Chantal!) sells BCBG Max Azria gowns for 30$ each. Can you say: Dream!!! I now own way too many fancy dresses for my own good. At least I don't care if I'm overdressed...lol.
That particular dress was worn by Ashlee Simpson some time ago and I always loved it. Let's just saw the 500$ price tags was not something I was willing to pay for a dress I could not wear everyday. But, at 30$ i never hesitated when I saw it on the rack. I still haven't worn it out yet because I got it at the end of october and the Montreal weather wasn't very compliant. Now bring on the sunshine already!
Finally, I want to thank Marilyn at Solid Gold for the sweet feature she did on me and my braids...hehe. So nice of you! I've also received some awards that I have not forgotten and will pass along tomorrow.

$30?!!! I love a great deal!! yours is awesome!
One of the best deals I've ever had was at the Armé Salut in the fall- a YSL Rive Gauche navy blazer for $17. That's a hefty price for the salvation army- lol- they knew it was real as well! lol!! But I love it- i haven't worn it yet, but I tried it out for the blog, belted, and it becomes the perfect classic dress. Actually, I'm wearing it to a funeral tomorrow. I think it's the perfect funeral outfit. Dark and tailored and YSL! :)

You are so lucky my dear :) There isnt any much thrift shops here so i seldom enjoy the excitement you guys get when you find something at dirt cheap prices but there was once when i bought this vintage sling bag at whooping $5! My friend later told me they are selling similar ones at $30+ I was overjoyed!! :)

my best find would have to be my semi dress. during the crazy saks sale i got an adam lippes dress for like $119, beautiful, black with eagle print, straight off the runway, originally $500, and about a week after I ordered it the price went back up to like $300. You can still buy it on Saks.com, for $190. haha. makes me laugh at the suckers.
