Denim Vest: DIY from a Guess denim jacket / Dress: Olivia / Tights: Dollar store / Boots: Urban Outfitters / Belt: Random Parisian store
The last few days have been a little ectic, not because I had a lot to accomplish during my day but mostly because I've been wanting to spend less time in front of the computer as the weather gets warmer. Friday night was the perfect day to go into town and enjoy a good evening of dancing (and drinking...lol) with the girls. It had almost been a month since we had been clubbing and I was anxious to catch up on my dancing. Elvis and The Beatles are definitely on the list of artists who will get me dancing for sure so we decided to go to an old school Rock and Roll bar!
For the occasion, I decided to take out my new confection pictured above. As my first DIY, well apart from the feather headband I made myself, I made this vest and I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am of it. Made from an old Guess denim Jacket I got at Value Village, this beauty was a definite hit on a night out. I found myself having some random people petting my back all evening long...a little awkward but I was way too proud to even care.

That vest looks totally amazing! I just did a diy with studs, kind of tedious but the results are worth it!
