...and this is the return

They are times when you need to step back from a project just to let it breathe on it’s own a little and, all at the same time, to reassess what you want that said project to be or become. Modern.Antoinette. is a blog after my own heart that was born through a lot of sweat and sometimes even tears (mostly from frustration).

That is why I felt it needed a little face lift. Not only in appearance (lots more to come) but also in content to better reflect my inspirations, my passions and my mind. Don’t get me wrong, there will still be a lot of vintage, thrifting and outfit posts but I will also share my movie inspirations (have I told you before I’m a real movie buff), my rants, my muses and much more.

Not to sound too cheesy but I sincerely hope you continue this fun, surprising and inspiring journey with me and enjoy the changes to come.

The last few weeks were spent enjoying my friend’s company. Maybe It’s just me but I would much rather spend an evening with them than attend one more Jet set fashion party, launch or fashion show. The best times are the ones where you can exchange on a much deeper level with people truly close to your heart.

Although I do enjoy drink champagne with fabulously dressed people from time to time my family and friends will always be my number one priority.

Here’s a little round up of what I’ve been up to:

• Celebrated my 26th birthday on june 30th with my friends and The Roots.
  
• First picnic of the year! Meet Violette, my friend Julie’s (Dominique’s sister) baby girl. Isn’t she precious?
  
• Painting Jérémie and Alexandrine’s appartement.
  
• Drinking, thrifting, eating, partying and working
  

I think that pretty much sums up the last week or so.
