With Osheaga less than 2 weeks away, I’m getting more and more excited by the second. So many amazing bands are playing that a lot of my favorites are, in fact, part of the line-up (Bright eyes, City and Colour, Sam Roberts, The Sounds). This week’s style muse proves that girls can in fact rock just has hard (or even hard) than boys. This chick will not be to everyone’s taste, with her devil may care attitude and her rough around the edges look; she’s far from the all American girl. Maja Ivarsson, lead singer of The Sounds, and top 5 on my list of girl crush, has a style that let’s you know she’s one of the boys. Androgynous yet always wearing shorts so small they could almost pass as underwear, she had mastered the art of looking tough while still being incredibly hot.
