| On My Nails Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Together Forever and Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Base Coat |
Two brands that I've been going back to time and time again, years after years are definitely Rimmel and Sally Hansen. Need added proof? Just go back to some of my previous Manicure Wednesday post and you'll notice how recurrently those two names are mentioned.
I bet you can guess my excitement when the lovely girls at Viviane Roy Communications offered to send over some of the latest products from each brand to try out and review. Now, you might think that after 3 years of blogging I would have gotten used to receiving gift and sample to try out, that I would have gotten somewhat jaded by it all. You couldn't be more wrong my friend... It's like Christmas/my birthday every single time. I'll always be forever grateful for the kind attentions.
Ok, now let's get back to the main topic of this post. When the goodies below landed on my doorstep a few weeks ago, I couldn't wait a minute before trying on one of the nail polish shade. My first choice: Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Together Forever a gorgeous iridescent lilac pink that lasted on my nails a whole week without any signs of chipping. Sure, it takes a little longer to dry but nothing that can't be fixed with my favourite Sally H. product, the insta-dry top coat, which I need to rebuy asap. I've gotten so much use of my other one that I've almost run out! A first in my book when it come to nail products. The polish goes on really well without any streaks and once dried, it as hard as you can get... I swear, you`ll be impressed. For once, no need to redo your manicure because it is all chipped but simply because you feel like it! A definite must try.
Next on my list of must buys: some colours from the Smooth & Perfect Color + Care and the Gem Crush range!!
Check back in the next few weeks for reviews on the other products.
