With so many years of thrifting under my belt, I've become much more selective. At the beginning, I used to pick up every single item that tickled my fancy whether it was from a great brand or that I simply felt like it was a amazing deal. Sometimes, often, I regretted some of these buys...

Becoming a good thrifter is an art. Learning to leave somethings behind is as important as finding those gems. I often find pieces that I think are just gorgeous but aren't really in line with my personal style and aesthetic. When that happens, I always leave it behind with the though that this special piece will find it rightful owner.

My point: I want to thank the person that left this amazing blazer behind. I spotted the fringe from across the store peaking under the clothes it was hanging next to in a changing room. I swear I ran to it!! I was really curious to see what I would find. Was it a top, a dress or a kimono? No, it was even better! A blazer with a fringe. How amazingly unexpected. Just the type of statement I know will always make my heart skip a beat.
