Bizou Accessories: Country Side Collection + Giveaway

There is one event I anticipate and love even more than Osheaga Music and Art Festival, it has to be Ottawa Folkfest. Last year, my sister Karine and I were both in heaven when we got to see both of our favourite bands (City and Colour and Bright Eyes respectively) play the Hog's Back Park stages. This year, I'll have the pleasure of sharing my folk experience with one of my favourite concert partner, my good friend and fellow blogger Jeremie from Les Onomatopées. Our main reason for attending was of course the great line-up. Although the festival goes on from september 6 to the 10th we'll only be road-tripping to see Bon Iver on the last day of the fest. We're one week away from the big day and I'm at the point where my mind is fixated on finding the perfect outfit. Of course music festivals are primarily about the music but I find that they are the perfect time to experiment with some OTT trends. This years, I'm hoping for chillier weather and the opportunity of layering.

How appropriate that I was sent some samples from the most recent Bizou collection called Country Side mere weeks before Ottawa Folkfest. This fall 2012 collection is all about chevron prints, navajo inspired motifs, feathers and fringes. Pretty much everything I love in a good piece of jewelery. Paired with something simpler like a tank and a pair of jeans, they add the perfect touch of bohemian flair.
